Jayanti Tamm was born into a cult, and got out 25 years later. Her new book is Cartwheels in a Sari: A Memoir of Growing Up Cult.

    I enjoyed Jayanti Tamm very much. It is fascinating to me to learn about cults and how people are mezmerized into joining them. Just goes to show that anyone can be vulnerable. Great, great interview.

    It's freaky how all of this was happening right in the midst of NYC. I had heard about the Sri and his bizarre world record stunts, but I had no idea about the real deal with what he did to his followers. I want to read the book and learn some more.
